Better choice: Quaker Oats. Swap the waffles for some good old-fashioned oatmeal. It's low in fat (less than 17% of total calories per serving), and has been shown to lower cholesterol levels. To sweeten it, add fruit or sprinkle on a little cinnamon, which may also help to lower cholesterol and blood sugar.
